Contemporary mountain architecture defines these two residential townhouses located in a Ketchum neighborhood. Each residence was specifically designed for the energetic family life styles of the clients. The contemporary offset building forms utilize rusted steel, wood timbers, natural stone, cedar and stucco to blend contemporary design with the mountain motif. Although economically built, these homes were of the first constructed under Ketchum’s Green Sustainability Code, defined by the National Green Building Standard. Such sustainable building measures are highlighted by landscape and site conservation, water conservation, energy conservation, recycled building materials and local resources. Ruscitto Latham Blanton’s services for the project included Architecture, Structural Engineering, and Landscape Design.
