FIRM PROFILE
RLB Architectura was founded in 1979 in Ketchum, Idaho by James Ruscitto, Nicholas Latham, and Thadd Blanton and soon evolved into an award winning architectural design firm recognized for unique traditional and contemporary mountain style designs. With new partners Buffalo Rixon, Michael Bulls, Scott Heiner, and Matt Walker, the firm has grown into a multi-disciplined architectural, planning and structural engineering design studio to meet the diverse and complex needs of our clients. We bring together a dynamic team with individual traits and skills in a collaborative studio to produce creative project solutions at RLB Architectura.
For over four decades our projects have varied in complexity, scope, and size providing the firm with a diverse range of experience including high end custom residential, multi-family residential, commercial, resort, hospitality and public works projects. This experience has included projects throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Europe. This diversity has provided the firm with skills in strategic planning, programming, site analysis, fundraising, entitlements, sustainable design, structural engineering, project implementation, and project management.
Our staff all share a passion for design and a strong work ethic. Our informal open studio environment facilitates collaboration, mentoring and learning through each project experience. It provides an opportunity for both individual creativity and teamwork. That passion for work is balanced with a deep appreciation for the natural environment in which our studio is located.
