Project Architect

We are seeking an experienced Project Architect to join our team and lead multi-disciplinary projects. We are looking for a candidate who offers strong skills and experience in all phases of the design process as well as, code compliance, client interface, and team leadership.

Education and Experience:

  • Professional Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited university.
  • Licensure preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to lead a team of design professionals successfully through project completion.
  • Experience working with authorities having jurisdiction or agencies for project approvals.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Complete and coordinate design solutions for projects of complex nature. Project sizes vary from small scale interior renovations to new building design and development.
  • Provide clients with recommendations on zoning ordinance and building code requirements.
  • Supervise project design operations to ensure compliance with firm standards.
  • Lead/participate in coordination meetings with clients, contractors, and consultants.
  • Project management including contracts, billing, and expenses.
  • Periodic travel.

Project Designer

We are seeking a Project Designer to join our team of design professionals, and contribute to the development and success of multi-disciplinary projects.

Education and Experience:

  • Intermediate knowledge of architectural building systems.
  • Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good verbal and written skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with a team of design professionals through various design phases.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop conceptual and technical solutions to design problems.
  • Perform zoning ordinance, building code, and ADA accessibility research and analysis.
  • Perform product research and assist project designers and project architects with material selection and system specifications.
  • Prepare construction documents and technical architectural details.
  • Assist team in the construction administration phase.
  • Perform other office management duties as requested.

Structural Engineer

Education and Experience:

  • BS or MS degree from an accredited engineering program preferred.
  • Passionate and self-motivated. Willingness to collaborate with studio team members on project development.
  • Design experience or interest in wood, concrete, and steel design.
  • Technically familiar with or willing to learn AutoCAD  or Revit, Risa, Enercalc, and Microsoft Office.
