Ruscitto Latham Blanton served as the prime design professional for the 16,000 square foot Upper School facility located on the Community School campus in Sun Valley, Idaho. The facility is situated along Trail Creek and serves as the campus main entrance presence. The two story building includes administration offices, classroom spaces, campus library, and student break areas. The facility is designed with sustainable and durable exterior and interior building materials and energy efficient mechanical and lighting systems. The classroom spaces are positioned and designed with large overhangs and operable windows to take advantage of abundant passive cooling and daylighting opportunities.
